McKenna Little (Williamswood) returned to victory lane for a third time this season, taking the win in the Maritime Auto Glass Beginner Bandolero extended distance race. Little passed Shelby Chisholm (Antigonish) for the lead on Lap Five and led the field from there, including an eight lap run to the checkered flag to capture the win. Little pulled away from the rest of the Beginner Bandolero field, including second place finisher Bristol Matthews (Nine Mile River) by almost a straightaway at the finish of the 15-lap feature.

Emma MacMillan (Maitland) recorded her first podium finish of the season with a third place feature run. Chisholm and rookie Brayden Wood completed the top five. For Wood, it was his first top five of the season.

Matthews took home the heat victory.

Little re-established a slim two point lead heading into the Summer Clash 250 win.

When it looked like the Maritime Auto Glass Bandoleros were going to see a fifth different winner in as many races, Daniel Vandenburg (Lower Onslow) changed the tune and became the first two-time winner of the year. Vandenburg made the move on Hailey Bland (Lakeview) with four laps to go in the extended 20-lap feature and held on to take the win. Bland would come home second after leading the most laps in the race with Samantha MacDonald (Dartmouth) racing to her third podium of the season in five events after Brett Pashkoski (Beaver Bank) spun on the final corner battling for second. Landon Pierce (Bridgewater) came home fourth with Pashkoski coming across the line fifth.

Pashkoski took home the heat win.

Vandenburg vaults to a four point lead after his second feature win of the season over Pierce.

Another big field of 19 Strictly Hydraulics Legends took to the track on Friday night at Scotia Speedworld and when the dust settled it was a trio of Tim Hortons at the Airport Rookie Contenders on the podium. Dawson Noble (Upper Nine Mile River) took control on a restart with five laps to go en route to his first career feature victory in a Legend car. Noble was aggressive in the laps prior to that caution as he hounded the back bumper of Chase Livingston (Springhill), who won his heat and started on the pole of the feature. Ayden Christensen (Windsor Junction) was able to get by Livingston but was unable to run down Noble before the 25-lap feature was over.
Livingston was third in the feature, ahead of a Langille brothers brawl with Josh taking the spot over Nathan (both of Coldbrook) when the checkered flew.

Nathan Langille, Livingston and Caden Tufts (Timberlea) took home heat race wins.

Gage Gilby (Enfield) was eighth on the night, which will give Christensen a 21-point lead heading into Friday night’s feature go.

It took him 15 years to find his way back, but Sheldon Pemberton (Dartmouth) made an appearance in victory lane on Friday, winning the 38-lap Bay Equipment Rentals Late Model Sportsman. While Harry Ross White (Noel Road) and Matt Moore (Falmouth) spent time up front, it was Pemberton holding off Brentley Pirri (Three Fathom Harbour) in the middle stages of the race and Jesse Deveau (Greenwood) late to capture the victory.

Behind Pemberton and Deveau, Darren Hilchie (Lake Charlotte) held off Alex Johnson (Enfield) and a determined Pete Miller (Kennetcook) for the final podium position. Hilchie won the high handicap heat on the night for the class while HOSS won the opening heat for the 18-car field.

Miller’s point lead is 15 over Deveau and 16 over Johnson as the field heads into the Superior Foundations 100.
