SCOTIA SPEEDWORLD’S CARSTAR WEEKLY RACING SERIES RETURNS to friday nights!
(Halifax, NS. May 31, 2022) Scotia Speedworld’s CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series continues its 35th season this Friday at 7:00pm. All CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series divisions will see action on the oval this Friday night. Adult tickets are $20.00; Youth tickets (8-15 years) are $5.00 and children 7 and under are admitted for FREE all season at Scotia Speedworld! Tickets will be available at the gate on race day.
First up Friday night are the 15 laps of the Strictly Hydraulics Legend feature that was postponed due to weather last Friday. Once those 15 laps are completed; they will re-set for Heats and resume the night’s racing card.
Also on the bill are the MacFarlands Industrial Bandoleros, the Fleet Brake Atlantic Sportsman and the Toursec Thunder & Lightning - who will race in a combined feature for 50 laps to round out the show!
We are going to give this one more shot! Prior to Heat Races trophies will be presented to the top-three drivers and Tim Hortons at the Airport Rookie of the Year for each division from the 2021 season. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate trophies will be disbursed to teams individually.

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features five different classes of racecars.
