2021 Awards banquet canceled

(Halifax, NS – March 4, 2022) It is with disappointment that we announce the 2021 year-end awards banquets for Scotia Speedworld and the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour will not take place. Unfortunately, Covid capacity restrictions prevented our ability to set a date to honour our competitors as we love to do following each race season. Ultimately the decision to cancel these events had to be made as the upcoming season is just around the corner.   

Don’t despair the year-end awards banquets will return to celebrate the 2022 season and dates will be announced very soon!

Trophies for the top-three finishers in each CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series division and the Tim Hortons at the Airport Rookies of the Year will be awarded at the Scotia Speedworld Season Opener on Sunday, May 22nd.

For the first time ever, fans will have the opportunity to see the official presentation of the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour championship trophy and custom championship ring commissioned from Inglis Jewelers. Craig Slaunwhite will receive all the spoils that come along with the title at the Pro Stock Tour Season Opener on Saturday, May 21st at Scotia Speedworld. Other top point-getters on the Series will also be presented with their awards from the previous season.
