WEEKLY RACING SERIES CONTINUES THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AT SCOTIA SPEEDWORLD

(Halifax, NS - July 3, 2024) - Summer is heating up and so is the action at Scotia Speedworld! This Friday night fans will be treated to more great racing from the Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series. This week fans will witness high-octane competition from the Bluenose Pools Bandoerlos, Toursec Ministocks and the Maritime Auto Glass Sportsman. Grandstand gates open at 5:00pm with racing action set for 7:00pm.

As the Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series approaches the halfway point, the action is heating up as the Summer temperatures do the same. While Russell Smith Sr (Lakeside, Maritime Auto Glass Sportsman) and Ross Moore (Lake Egmont, Toursec Mini Stock) go into Bay Equipment Rentals Night with double digit point leads, Shelby Chisholm (Antigonish) and Bella Pashkoski (Beaver Bank) find themselves defending slimmer margins. Chisholm’s lead is seven points in the Bluenose Pools Beginner division while mechanical issues from last week has shrunk Pashkoski’s lead to a single point over last week’s Bluenose Pools Bandolero feature winner Avery DeCoste (Antigonish).

Admission for the Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series is $20 for adults, $5 for youth (8-15yrs), children seven and under are free all season at Scotia Speedworld! For more information, please visit www.scotiaspeedworld.ca
