ROUND TWO OF CARSTAR WEEKLY RACING SERIES ON DECK

(Halifax, NS – May 30, 2023) –The CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series returns to the oval this Friday night at 7:00pm for Pepsi Night. Fans will be treated to high-octane racing from the Strictly Hydraulic Legends, Bay Equipment Rentals Sportsman and Bandoleros. The Toursec Mini Stocks will be off Friday night as they prepare for their massive 100-lap event next week.   

While the Season Opener provided lots of action as anticipated, the night also saw several first-time winners! A popular win with the fans, Samantha MacDonald (Dartmouth, NS) scored her first Bandolero victory since moving up from the Beginner division. McKenna Little (Timberlea, NS) took her first checkered flag in the Beginner class. Josh Langille (Coldbrook, NS) topped 19 other competitors to win his first Strictly Hydraulics Legend feature. Not to be outdone, veteran Alex Johnson (Enfield, NS) kicked off the year with a victory in the Bay Equipment Rentals Sportsman as he searches for his first career championship.

Adult Grandstand tickets for the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series are $20.00, Youth tickets (8-15yrs) are $5.00. 7 and under are FREE all season at Scotia Speedworld events! Tickets for the Pit area are $25.00. Tickets for the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series are available at the gates on race day.

Grandstands open at 5:00pm with on track action at 7:00pm!

The Turn One Beer Garden will also be open this Friday Night - So grab some friends and head to the track for a cold one and a great night of heart pounding racing excitement!
