Mother Nature was a factor in Friday nights race program at Scotia Speedworld. All week the weather forecasters were calling for rain on Friday. The day began with sun in the sky, which was obscured by clouds as the day went along. Racing started and the weather was pleasant until the final feature.

The sportsman had a caution on lap 30 of the 38-lap feature. As happens at times, one caution leads to another. We had another caution on lap 31 and yet another on lap 33. Drivers couldn’t get their momentum going. The charged off on another green flag and a lap later the skies opened ending the nights racing.
