2020 Scotia Speedworld Schedule Announced

(Halifax, NS – March 20, 2020) – Scotia Speedworld is pleased to announce the 2020 schedule. Race season will open on Sunday, May 17th with the traditional CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series Season Opener on Victoria Day Weekend. The season opener will include all five CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series divisions. Each Friday night following will see four of the five divisions taking to the track to thrill stock car fans all summer!

Highlights of the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series include the ever popular Kiddie Rides on July 3rd and August 28th. The Canadian National Autism Foundation (CNAF) Kids Race will return on July 31st. The Toursec Thunder & Lightning cars will take centre stage for Twin 50s on June 19th and August 21st. The 26th running of the Shriners Classic is scheduled for June 26th.

In addition to the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series, the 33rd edition of the Scotia Speedworld schedule includes visits from three of the most prestigious touring series in Atlantic Canada. The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, the Maritime League of Legends and the East Coast Mini Stock Tour will all be making multiple appearances this season.
 
Monster Trucks will return to Scotia Speedworld in 2020 with the World Series of Monster Trucks slated for multiple shows the weekend of June 12th. Stay tuned for more show details to be announced shortly.
