About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. 2012 marks the 25th season of weekly racing at the venue. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Next week don’t miss the 21st Annual Shriner’s Classic! The Classic was scheduled to be run on July 24th but was postponed due to rain. The best Sportsman drivers will be vying for the coveted trophy and their name in the history books. The Hydraulics Plus Bandolero cars also have a big night next Friday as they will be competing for points towards their INEX National Championship and their Weekly Racing Series Championship. Action gets started at 7:00PM next Friday night
