Rusty Wallace Racing Experience Forced To Reschedule Dates Due To Weather

Dear Racers,

As you may know there is rain forecast for our dates this coming Saturday at Scotia Speedworld with a high of about 45 degrees.  It is important for us at the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience for you to have an incredible “bucket list” type of day when you join us at the track.  A cold, damp day is not the type of experience that you deserve and that we want to deliver for your time in the racecar. 

For the hearty race fans who have booked with us for May, we appreciate you that have made plans and adjusted plans to be with us.  We take your time seriously and our responsibility to put on a great event for you just as serious.  We just don’t see how moving ahead for this cold, rainy Saturday makes sense at this time.  Although this is an inconvenience, our management team at the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience feels it’s best at this time to cancel this coming weekend May 10th and 11th at Scotia Speedworld in advance to allow you time to plan your weekend.

The Rusty Wallace Racing Experience would like to thank the entire management team at Scotia Speedworld, for allowing RWRE to make this decision early and offering us some great alternative dates for our customers.   We’re hopeful that like us you feel a nice June evening would be a great time at the racetrack rather than a cold potentially rainy date in May. 

After receiving additional dates from Scotia, here are your options:

1) Scotia has offered us the evenings of June 25th and 26th, you can choose schedule to join us anywhere from 4 to 7pm on those evenings with the racetrack hot and racing from 5-9pm.  We will be offering everyone who’s scheduled for any of our May dates 50% more laps at RWRE for these dates.
2) You can reschedule to our Fall dates of September 27-28, again with 50% more laps for your inconvenience.
3) Finally, if you’d prefer a refund.  We will get it processed immediately with our apologies.

In closing, we’d like to apologize one final time for any inconvenience this may have caused you.  We want to thank you for your support of RWRE and hope that you can join us in June or September.
