About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. 2012 marks the 25th season of weekly racing at the venue. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Get Ready Halifax!  Next weekend the most anticipated stock car race of the season is finally here.  Friday night Scotia Speedworld proudly presents the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman 100. Saturday the stars of the Parts for Trucks pro stock tour hit the oval for 250 grueling laps of fender to fender racing in the Atlantic CAT 250, Canada’s best stock car drivers will be striving for victory and their piece of the $50,000.00 purse. Don’t miss any of the action at the Atlantic CAT 250 this weekend at Scotia Speedworld. Tickets available at the gate on race day!
