Up Next For Weekly Racing Series

(Halifax, NS. Aug 20, 2013)The Strictly Hydraulics Legend cars will take centre stage at Scotia Speedworld this week as they do battle for 50 laps under the lights this Friday night. Also on this week’s racing card are the Coors Light Trucks and the Ace Lumbermart Thunder & Lightning cars. Admission is just $12.00 for Adults; Youth (8-15) are $2.00 and children 7 and under are free…all summer long! Tickets are available at the gate on race day. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM with racing action slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.

With only four races remaining for the Legends this season the chase for the championship is on. Only 15 points separates current leader Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake) from fifth place Emily Meehan (Rawdon). Matt Moore (Falmouth) sits just two markers behind Butcher in second, Jeff Cruikshank (Hantsport) is eight points back in third and Danny Harvey (Lantz) holds fourth spot 13 points behind the leader heading into Friday nights extended distance event.

Friday’s nights festivities are being presented by Strictly Hydraulics. Strictly Hydraulics is a full service hydraulic center, with a 24 hour on call service.
