About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. 2012 marks the 25th season of weekly racing at the venue. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. TOMORROW:
Saturday at 6:00 PM the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour returns for the second of only four visits to Scotia Speedworld this season. The Lockhart Truck Centre 100 will be race four of 12 for the popular touring series. Advance tickets for the Lockhart Truck Center 100 are on sale now at Ticket Atlantic outlets (Atlantic Superstores NS & PE), by phone 902.451.1221 or www.ticketatlantic.com. Tickets will also be available at the gate on race day (cash only). Admission for the Lockhart Truck Center 100 is $25.00 for adults, $5.00 for youth (8-15 yrs); pit admission is $30.00.
