NEXT UP FOR WEEKLY RACING SERIES IS STRICTLY HYDRAULICS NIGHT
Weekly Racing Series, June 15
(Halifax, NS. June 14, 2012) Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series returns this Friday for Strictly Hydraulics Night! Racing under the lights this week will be; the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, ACE Lumbermart Thunder and Lightning, Jack Daniel’s Trucks and the Strictly Hydraulics Legends. Adult admission for the Weekly Racing Series is just $12.00; Youth (8-15) are $2.00 and children 7 and under are free…all summer long! Tickets are available at the gate on race day. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM with racing action slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
New to Scotia Speedworld this week is Kids Corner with Kate! Kids Corner will be set up in an area just inside of the main grandstand entrance. Kids can visit and create posters and signs in support of their favorite drivers. We will provide all of the necessary materials. Kate is one of our Scotia Speedworld team members will be there to assist and help the kids if they need it. Kids Corner will run from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM this week.
Friday’s nights festivities are being presented by Strictly Hydraulics. Strictly Hydraulics is a full service hydraulic center, with a 24 hour on call service. They have the largest selection of hose and fittings, both metric and imperial, in Atlantic Canada. Their Aeroquip Express Center can turn your walk-in hose, tube or fitting problem into a solution while you wait. Strictly Hydraulics' engineer and technicians are able to deal with any hydraulic system and have it operating properly and efficiently in a short timeframe. Strictly Hydraulics is also sponsoring the 2012 Legend division at Scotia Speedworld.

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only venue in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
