About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. 2012 marks the 25th season of weekly racing at the venue. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Next week is the ACE Lumbermart Twin 50’s! Don’t miss four divisions of racecars including the ACE Lumbermart Thunder & Lightning cars, which will battle for 50 laps each under the lights next Friday. Also on track will be the Jack Daniel’s Trucks and Hydraulics Plus Bandoloeros. Weekly Racing Series tickets are $12.00 for Adults, $2.00 for Youth (8-15yrs) and children seven and under are free all season at Scotia Speedworld! (cash only)
