Lumbermart Twin 50’s on Tap for Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series!

(Halifax, NS – July 21, 2011) This Friday, the Lumbermart Thunder and Lightning cars will take centre stage in extended distance features for the Lumbermart Twin 50’s. “Atlantic Canada’s Best 4-Cylinders” will each go head to head for 50 laps under the lights at the 3/10 mile oval as part of Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series. Also seeing action Friday are the Hydraulics Plus Bandolero cars and Trucks. Heat races to determine the qualifying order for each feature will begin at 7:00 p.m. Grandstands and Box Office open at 5:00 p.m.

Admission for the Lumbermart Twin 50’s is: $12.00 for adults; $2.00 for youth aged 8-15; children 7 and under are admitted free. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $15.00 and restricted to those 16 and older. Tickets are available at the gate on race day.
