Don’t Miss Fan Appreciation Night this Friday at Scotia Speedworld
(Halifax, NS – August 17, 2011) Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series continues this Friday night with Fan Appreciation Night! Without our loyal fans we would not be able to do what we do! As our thank you to YOU, the fans, Scotia Speedworld is offering $10 adult admission for one night only. Please note this offer is not available for pit entry. In additional to the deal at the gate fans will have an opportunity to win some great prizes courtesy of Scotia Speedworld sponsors. Youth tickets are $2 and children 7 and under are free!
Five divisions of hotrods will see action this week at the 3/10 mile oval; the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, Lumbermart Thunder and Lightning, Coco Beach Legends and the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman. Heat races to determine starting positions for each division get underway at 7:00pm with feature racing to follow immediately after. Gates open at 5:00pm.

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only venue in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
