The third round of the Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series already sees storylines aplenty as it enters the summer months. The continued growth of the Traction Mini Stocks is evident both on track with non-stop, edge-of-your-seat action but also in the amount of cars. Last Friday night, 29 cars signed in for competition with Darren Hodder (Mount Uniacke) returning to victory lane for the first time in over a year. Two-time and reigning track champion Ross Moore (Lake Egmont) leads the standings after two races in the class.

The Maritime Auto Glass Sportsman return to the track in their final appearance before the 30th Anniversary of the Shriners Classic on Friday, June 13th. Dylan Dowe (Bedford) was the winner on Opening Day, edging out Jeffrey Breen (Antigonish) for the win. The United Mortgage Group Legend cars also saw an exciting finish during their last event as Nathan Langille (Coldbrook) made a last lap, last turn pass on Caden Tufts (Timberlea) for his first victory of 2025. In the Bluenose Pools Beginners division, it is Addision Veinotte (Porters Lake) who has won the opening two rounds of the season.

Joining track announcer Tim Terry on the call for Bay Equipment Rentals Night is reigning Bluenose Pools Bandolero Champion Bella Pashkoski.
