STRICTLY HYDRAULICS LEGENDS
INEX QUALIFIER UP NEXT
FOR WEEKLY RACING SERIES

(Halifax, NS. August 12, 2015)The Strictly Hydraulics Legend cars will take centre stage at Scotia Speedworld this week as they do battle for 50 laps under the lights Friday night. The Coors Light Trucks are also on the racing card and will run a 35 lap feature. The Chickenburger Thunder & Lightning will close out the show. Admission is just $12.00 for Adults; Youth (8-15) are $2.00 and children 7 and under are free…all summer long! Tickets are available at the gate on race day (cash only). Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM with racing at 7:00 PM.

Prior to the Weekly Racing Series show AMKA (Atlantic Motorsport Karting Association) will present a short demonstration on track at 7:00 PM.

The 50-lap Legends feature will serve as an INEX National Qualifier, which will not only count toward their season long points chase at Scotia Speedworld, but will also lock the winner into a provisional starting spot in the 2015 INEX Asphalt Nationals in Anderson, South Carolina this November. The Qualifier was originally scheduled for June 19th but was postponed due to rain.

Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake) heads into Strictly Hydraulics Night with a slim three point lead over 2014 Rookie of the Year Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth) and four points on Paul Goulden (Shelburn). The top three will have to fight through a talented field in this very competitive class if they want to take home the checkers and the sought after provisional starting spot in South Carolina.

The Coors Light Trucks are set to embark on their longest event of the season in a 35-lap feature Friday. Dan Smith (Lower Sackville) will look to further his lead in the division championship chase and what could be a historic fourth consecutive championship in the Truck division. Only seven points separate Kevin Clark Jr (Goodwood), Cory Leonard (Goodwood) and Matt Vaughan (Lake Fletcher) who sit second, third and fourth respectively heading into the extended distance feature.

Friday’s nights festivities are being presented by Strictly Hydraulics. Strictly Hydraulics is a full service hydraulic center, with a 24 hour on call service. They have the largest selection of hose and fittings, both metric and imperial, in Atlantic Canada. Their Aeroquip Express Center can turn your walk-in hose, tube or fitting problem into a solution while you wait. Strictly Hydraulics' engineer and technicians are able to deal with any hydraulic system and have it operating properly and efficiently in a short timeframe. Strictly Hydraulics is the longtime title sponsor of the Legend division at Scotia Speedworld.
