Laurie Roue

It is with sorrow we announce the passing of Laurie Roue at the age of 83. Laurie was a veteran stock car driver who piloted a Chevy 11 called the Golden Hawk for Forbes Chev Olds in the early 1960s. He always stayed in touch with the stock car racing scene and even attended Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour events in 2014. Laurie was the son of William Roue, the designer of the original Bluenose, and is survived by his daughter, Joan Roue.
